Always a difficult proposition because there is nothing to build on. With established sites there was a post yesterday or the day before that is just begging to have a follow-up of an idea that has been sparked and needs to be fanned into flame. But a new blog…

Writing the first post for any blog is never much of a spectacle because, well, no one reads it. By the time any blog gets going somewhere the first post is well and truly burried deep under layers and layers of new posts, pages and comments so there really is no need for anyone to read it. In fact, most of the time I’ve deleted the first posts I’ve written in the past.

I hope that jimmyvanilla.com will become something that can make a good contribution to the worlds on online finance, technology and entertainment commentary.
